Hello black pepper white pepper,
Maybe i will do a brief write up on Singapore since i have nothing better to do at 2.30am in the morning. Well, from my observation through everyday experiences, i feel that Singapore is beginning to lose its appeal - losing its appeal to locals. Don't get me wrong, Singapore is indeed improving in terms of technology and its economy; but that really is the problem.
I am not hating on anybody but from what i feel, our country is trying its best to be the best in everything by means of using Gameshark. Everything is to be done artificially. I can even pick an example closer to you, for instance, the nearest 7-11 or hypermarts/supermarts. Most particularly in the line of cashiers, these people can be found.
I am amazed that most of them are able to comprehend our English but too bad we can't do the same for theirs. Hey, maybe they are students working part time here and still improving on the language or maybe simply here just to steal our jobs as a hidden agenda. Hehehe.
In sports, borrowed talent is also prominent. I wouldn't be ashamed if our country participated in a competition and lost, rather i would feel cheated if a participant became a citizen and played for our country just for the purse. Maybe if a little borrowed talent to motivate us will help but from what i see, they return to their homelands and celebrate their victory.
My main concern is "Will Singaporeans < Foreign talent?". Will every service be provided by foreigners in future? Maybe because of lazy people like me that this will become a reality. Lol.
After writing this and reviewing this post, the main question should actually be, "Why in the blue hell am i writing such a patriotic post you idiot!"
